IKAN BAKAR SINAR MUARA ANGKE

"I thought this was a separate restaurant in Muara Angke while in fact it's only a stall in the collective "Floating Restaurant" in Angke. Price wise-very friendly (approx IDR 250k for two persons with 1/4kg calamari leftover). However I can't say the same to the taste. Ordered the crab-calamari-and fish (called ayam2), only the padang sauce crab suits our taste. The grilled fish was quite good if only it wasn't that burnt, while the calamari..forget it, sorry to say but it really sucks. Probs on the flour you used :( Other little thing to improve is your beverages, we only ordered some tea (1 sweetened and 1 unsweetened) and still delivered to us wrong. Even after you tried to fix it, the supposed to be sweetened tea wasn't sweet at all -the worst is the water used to brew, you might have to use better water source since it taste so much of chlorine. Waiting time is also need to be quicker since we waited almost half an hour (and the foods come cold already) Despite the shortcomings, I love how polite and patient your staffs answered all our queries. "The place is not realy represented but quite clean. We need to aware because the price is higher from the menu list. Some of food served with nice sauce, once again we need to ensure the freshness of the food before cooking."

The place is full of smoke, because its a seafood so many people ordered smoked fish, and etc. You can buy your fish by your ownself at nearby fish market and order this restaurant to cook at your liking. Oh and this place is really smelly (what do you expect from seafood restaurant near fish market) Overall nice experience."

"Unique experience at "fresh" place where you can find a bunch of sea creatures to be served as your main dishes lol. You will need of course extra effort to get here, but believe me, you choose your own fish, choose which restaurant to cook it and how it will be cooked."
